Living next doors to Alex

knew this girl
She lived next door
She was my friend.

We played together
We schooled together
She was fun, she was sweet.

But then she grew small
She grew thin, she grew weak
My Mummy said not to play with her
My Daddy said to leave her alone.

But, to me, she was pretty
She was fine
She was strong, but coughed too much
Her skin was fair but a little ruined.

On the play ground
I lost sight of my friend
Endless trips, away from school.

One day from school my friend was gone,
A constant reminder of her I hold
To this day, and many to come
I still ask questions, I miss her dearly,
My best friend.

Careful Falling In Love

Don’t fall quickly in love
You may get hurt and regret
Be vigilant and resist
It is easy to fall in land of love
It may not be easy to get up again
You may be caught in the net
Like the silver fish in the ocean
Do your best swim fast, swim far
Avoid the merciless net
Put your heart and mind in sync
Make the right decisions
But foremost don’t rush
and be a sore loser

Man And Woman

Here’s the trickle,
can be equal.
But never same.
what? Insane?
Reason so simple,
one is woman
the other is man.
one is male
the other is female.
can be equal
maybe a sequel.
Metabolically different
Earthly statement.
So let man be man
and woman; woman.
Man and Woman
Differently equal,
Equally different.

A Red, Red Rose

My love is like a red, red rose
That’s newly sprung in June :
My love is like the melody
That’s sweetly played in tune.

As fair art thou, my bonnie lass,
So deep in love am I:
And I will love thee still, my dear,
Till a’ the seas gang dry.

Till a’ the seas gang dry, my dear,
And the rocks melt wi’ the sun :
And I will love thee still, my dear,
While the sands o’ life shall run.

And fare thee weel, my only love,
And fare thee weel a while!
And I will come again, my love,
Thou’ it were ten thousand mile.

Broken On The Floor

I’m broken on the floor,
Its never been this bad before.
My thoughts are spread out around me,
I tried so hard to not let anyone see.

My emotions bottle up,
yet I still refuse to cut.
Temptation stays by my side,
I try not to reach for the knife.

I reach, I cut.
I fall back to the floor.
I didn’t want to do this anymore…

I’m broken on the floor,
Its never been this bad before.
My thoughts are spread out around me,
I tried so hard not to let anyone see….
see how truly messed up I can be.

Sweet Temptation

Trapped by your kisses
Your sweet smell tormenting my every nerve
Your salty taste lingering in my mouth
Your fingers gentle teasing my spine
Your hot breath warming my shoulder
Your teeth sinking into my soft flesh

Lost completely out of control
Breathless and yet courageous
I flip the switch I’m the boss
I decide what happens
I pull your hair
I leave you wanting more
I leave you confused and chasseing me

Dangerous Beauty

Her eyes glows with venom,
When she winks its death.
With a tongue coated with poison,
Her lips paralyzes like a viper’s kiss.
Her angelic voice penetrates the hardest of hearts,
Generating a wave of emotion that sweeps away.

From her breast flows the lotus juice.
Her perfumed tresses intoxicates,
As her presence pacifies a man’s trouble.
From the four winds sail’d men to attend her soirees.
Though she is dangerous,
Yet a night in her bowers for eternity last

She sails from coast to coast,
Seeking men to devour.
A dangerous courtesan, yet we desire her.
Within her arms lost many their fortune,
Their dreams in her lair were crushed.
A skillful Siren,
Her beauty a weapon that entraps,
Yet we cannot flee her tent.

Who can deliver us from her claws,
That enchants from afar?
Who can liberate us from her spell?
Though we wallow daily ensnared in her web,
Helplessly bewitched by her magnificent.
Yet our desires, lust, and affection on her tent we cast.

Talk To Me

Talk to me in the dark of night
when there’s silence, only your voice.
Speak to me of your daytime thoughts
so I may hear you and rejoice.

This is my time with you alone.
Your words can still my heart.
All through the busy hours of day
my body plays its part.

But, nothing I do can ever compete
with the sounds you give to me.
All that I do is never complete
‘Til I’m lying next to you.

So talk to me in the dark of night
and lull me off to sleep.
Let all my dreams be of your words,
the words that I shall keep

’til the morning breaks my reverie
and brings me another day.
I will move forward through the hours
awaiting the words you will say.

A Dream Lies Dead (analog version)

A dream lies dead here. May you softly go
Before this place, and turn away your eyes,
Nor seek to know the look of that which dies
Importuning Life for life. Walk not in woe,
But, for a little, let your step be slow.
And, of your mercy, be not sweetly wise
With words of hope and Spring and tenderer skies.
A dream lies dead; and this all mourners know:

Whenever one drifted petal leaves the tree-
Though white of bloom as it had been before
And proudly waitful of fecundity-
One little loveliness can be no more;
And so must Beauty bow her imperfect head
Because a dream has joined the wistful dead!
